Slam it on a zombie's head and the drills will make short work of its melon. It's a metal bucket with a few drills taped to the outside, pointing in. What's a zombie game without a molotov cocktail capable of setting the undead ablaze? A zombie game I don't want to play, natch. It acts as a really loud horn (so loud that Chuck has to cover one ear when he uses it) that, when used for an extended time against a crowd of zombies, will cause their heads to explode.Īn exploding gas can full of nails is a good thing to toss into a crowd of zombies. Suddenly Donatello seems a lot less bad ass. Remember Donatello's bo staff from "Ninja Turtles"? Well, imagine if there was a running chainsaw at each end. Stab a zombie with the pitchfork to keep them in place, and blast them with the shotgun to, well, not keep them in place. If your aim is terrible, you may want to consider the Boomstick. Now send millions of volts of electricity through it and then go and poke zombies with it. Know that some of the ingredients are pretty well hidden, so be sure to check on rooftops, in back alley ways and underneath cars. ![]() ![]() For one thing, you can make 9 different combo weapons! Here's the full list of creatables. Even though it's a small town, there are plenty of ways for you to get your jollies. So you've found yourself in Still Creek with a zombie invasion between you and freedom. Note: If you just downloaded "Dead Rising 2: Case Zero," the Xbox Live-exclusive prequel to the game, you should know that the vast majority of combo weapons in the main game don't work in "Case Zero." I've broken out the list of which combo weapons you can create in "Case Zero," but know that the full game has many, many more. I broke out the list of more than 45 combo weapons into multiple categories, which you can peruse below. Duct tape is truly the gift that keeps on giving. These skills replace the camera in "Dead Rising 2," as Chuck is able to combine two seemingly incongruous items and make them into something awesome. Chuck Greene is a former motocross champion and is a handy mechanic. "Dead Rising 2" doesn't star a journalist. Taking pictures of zombies in wacky situations resulted in bonus experience points and gave players a non-violent outlet as a nice change of pace. Frank West, that game's hero, was a journalist (who covered wars), so he had his camera with him at all times. The first "Dead Rising" featured an unexpected game element which could occupy your time when you weren't rescuing survivors or blasting the heads off zombies. ![]()
